Mission

To enhance the health and well-being of service members, Family members, and DoD beneficiaries throughout the PHC-P AOR by providing for effective health and human services. The Directorate is composed of Army Public Health Nursing, Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, and Clinical Public Health and Epidemiology.

Army Public Health Nursing

To support service members and Family readiness in garrison and deployed environments through responsive, evidence-based public health nursing services that promote health and wellness and prevent disease in the Public Health Command-Pacific area of responsibility.
 

Clinical Public Health and Epidemiology

To provide epidemiological and surveillance expertise as it relates to health outcomes from contagious diseases as well as injuries and occupational illnesses.

Industrial Hygiene

Fosters the prevention of workplace exposure-related injury, disease, and death by providing a wide range of Level 4 occupational health and injury prevention services. It continuously enhances operational readiness and supports the industrial base through controlling chemical, physical, and biological hazards to protect and preserve the health of the warfighters, civilian workforce, Family members, and community throughout the Public Health Command-Pacific area of responsibility.

Health Physics

Provide regional level Public Health services in the Public Health Command-Pacific area of responsibility in order to ensure all Department of Defense stakeholders are protected from the occupational, environmental, and CBRN hazards of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. Including health risk assessments, training, and technical assistance to units within the PHC-P area of responsibility.
