Joint Base Lewis-McChord Veterinary Center Facility is staffed by Army Veterinary Corps personnel with the primary mission of providing complete veterinary care for all government-owned animals, supporting public health and One Health efforts, and caring for service members and Families. The facility is also staffed with civilian veterinarians to provide a variety of routine medical services for the pets of military and retiree Families. These services include wellness care such as immunizations, lab testing, and preventative medications. We also have appointments available for sick patients, and perform routine surgery and dental procedures.
 

We support the Joint Base Lewis-McChord area as well as Yakima Training Center and Vancouver Barracks. This includes the Lewis Main and McChord commissaries.

If you have a pet emergency, please contact one of the many civilian emergency veterinary clinics in the greater JBLM area. We are unable to provide emergency/after-hours care and recommend having contact information for a civilian veterinary clinic.
