Information About The Sasebo VTF

Food protection is our highest priority. We ensure that proper food safety and defense is practiced at Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo. This includes the inspection of 25 facilities to include two Defense Commissary Agency commissaries, several Navy Exchange establishments, two galleys, and all of the 7th fleet. The primary mission of the veterinary treatment facility is to provide high quality medical care for the military working dogs at CFA Sasebo to ensure the security and safety of the installation and its personnel. We also aim to provide high quality care for privately owned animals and maintain a good working relationship with our host nation of Japan.
Be aware that Japanese law requires annual rabies vaccinations for all pets. Please keep your pet current on their vaccinations.
