Mission
Environmental Health Engineering provides Role IV, technical and operational public health support throughout the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command region to prevent and minimize risks to the force and families from occupational and environmental health and endemic disease threats.
Mission Essential Task List
Provide environmental health and endemic disease technical and training support, and educate Preventive Medicine personnel to effectively manage Environmental Health programs using proper tactics, techniques and procedures.
Collective Task List
1. Provide Environmental Health Engineering assessments/surveys to installation public health authorities and support Installations when necessary resource capabilities do not exist at the installation level.
2. Provide environmental health training to installation-level public health assets for continuous knowledge development and quality assurance.
3. Provide regional public health enterprise oversight to include, technical assistance, mentorship, coordination, and consultative support.
