December 1-4 2025, SGT Dixon, SFC Padlan, and SPC Ramirez conducted a comprehensive Food Defense Assessment in preparation for an event that hosted approximately 800 attendees, including Members of Congress, Military Officials and many other high-ranking officials like Secretary of War, Honorable Pete Hegseth. Their mission focused on identifying vulnerabilities, verifying compliance, and enhancing readiness to safeguard food operations against potential threats. The event displayed 26 decorated trees, each honoring a different decade of our nation’s history.
The exhibit presented a significant logistical challenge, with 19 simultaneous dinners requiring coordination across 11 kitchens. Two main kitchens were tasked with meal preparation, while nine satellite kitchens served as food holding, plating, and serving locations to ensure quality and safety.
The team collaborated closely with event personnel to assess operations, implement protective measures, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Their efforts were instrumental in mitigating risks and contributing to the overall success of the event.
