HONOLULU –
Congratulations to our team at the Iwakuni Veterinary Treatment Facility! They were awarded with the Iwakuni Impact Award, Jan. 7, by U.S. Marine Corps Col. Lance Lewis, commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, for the impact they made aboard the air station during the month of December.
The local community nominated the Iwakuni veterinary team in recognition of the outstanding care the clinic provides to Family pets.
The Iwakuni VTF’s primary mission is to ensure the mission readiness and continued health of military working dogs stationed aboard MCAS Iwakuni. Their secondary mission is to provide compassionate medical and preventative care to privately owned animals who have accompanied their Families to Iwakuni, Japan.
