First Sergeant Olivo was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and joined the Army in July 18 2006. He completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) as a 68R, Veterinary Food Inspector at Fort Sam Houston, TX.
 
1SG Olivo’s assignments include Section Leader, Savannah Rapids DVC Ft Jackson, SC; Section NCOIC, Patrick Veterinary Section, Patrick AFB; Branch NCOIC, Bremerton Naval Base, WA; Veterinary Services NCOIC, 1st Medical Company Task Force Sinai, El Gora, EG; Veterinary Services NCOIC, 438th MED DET (VSS)/10th Combat Support Hospital, Ft. Carson, CO; Platoon Sergeant, Foxtrot Company, 232nd MED BN, JBSA-FSH; Senior Drill Sergeant, Alpha Company, 264th MED BN; First Sergeant, 264th MED BN, JBSA-FSH, TX. He is currently serving as the First Sergeant for 106th Medical Detachment (VSS)/Public Health Activity-Korea.
 
1SG Olivo’s military education includes Veterinary Food Inspector Course; Food Service Management Course; Field Sanitation Course; Warrior Leaders Course; Advance Leaders Course; Unit Armorer Course; Field Management Chemical and Biological Casualty Course; Air Load Planner Course; Master Driver Trainer Course; Joint Biological and Diagnostic Course; Master Fitness Trainer Course; Battle Staff Course; Senior Leader Course; AIT Platoon Sergeant Course; Master Resilience Course; Drill Sergeant Recertification Course, Master Leader Course, and First Sergeant/Commander Course.
 
He is a graduate of MTI College of Business and Technology with Associate's Degree in Business Technology.
 
1SG Olivo’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (1 OLC); Army Commendation Medal (3 OLC); Army Achievement Medal, (9 OLC); Army Good Conduct Medal (5th Award); National Defense Service Medal; Armed Forces Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 4); Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon; Multinational Force and Observers Medal (Numeral 2) and Drill Sergeant Badge.
 
1SG Olivo has been married for 21 years to Sanjuanita Olivo. They are proud parents of three boys; Anthony Olivo (20), Dante Olivo (17), and Sebastian Olivo (17).
