The Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Veterinary Treatment Facility is professionally staffed by Army Veterinary Corps personnel with the primary mission of providing complete veterinary care for all government-owned animals.

All pets living on post must be registered with the veterinary treatment facility upon arrival. On-post housing may limit the number and breed of pets that can live in on-post housing. Contact on-post housing for more information.

Can we get an International health certificate with your facility? *The facility does have a GS Veterinarian on staff, but contact the clinic to verify availability*
How much does a health certificate cost? *Prices range from $37-100 per pet depending on the specific country import requirements*

Acceptable methods of payments: Visa/Master Card/Discover and cash (but no cash right now due to COVID, all payments are done over the phone)

Do you accept walk-ins? *No, all pets are seen by appointment only*
Do you perform euthanasia? *No, services must be done at a civilian clinic or house call veterinarian
