Our mission at the Iwakuni VTF is to provide exceptional quality of life care to our Military Working Dogs and Privately Owned Animals through compassionate medical and preventative car e. We are a by -appointment only clinic that supports our Iwakuni Community.

Services Provided
  • All services are by appointment-only.
  • Government of Japan Pet Quarantine Management
    • Initial/Final import examinations
    • 30-day import examinations
  • Health certificates
  • Annual wellness examinations to include immunizations and routine diagnostic testing
  • Medication refills and OTC product sales (ie. shampoo, ear cleaner, dental hygiene, etc.)
  • Routine services (ie. Nail trims, anal gland expressions, etc.)
  • Pet NEO packet guidance and preparedness
  • Routine surgeries (ie. Spay/neuter, dental cleaning, mass removal, etc.)
  • Sick call examinations

  • Iwakuni Veterinary Treatment Facility is not an emergency veterinary clinic.
    • Off-base veterinary clinic is recommended for after-hour emergency care.
    • Recommend all clients establish an after-hours emergency pet care plan with an off-base veterinarian.
