LTC Tiffany L. Kimbrell

 
 
A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, LTC Kimbrell earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology (2005) at the University of South Carolina. She earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University and served as class president (2010), concurrently completing her veterinary medical acupuncture certification. LTC Kimbrell commissioned into the U.S. Army through the Health Professions Scholarship Program (2010).  She later completed her long-term health education in small animal surgery at the University of Florida (2018). She is board certified as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
 
Her current duty assignment is Commander, Veterinary Readiness Activity, Fort Lewis. Her last duty assignment was at Public Health Command, East as the Regional Command Veterinary Clinical Consultant and on Veterinary Medical Standardization Board (VMSB) as the Equipment Chair (2021-2024). She deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Spartan Shield, Iraq and Kuwait (2020). Her previous active-duty assignments include First Year Graduate Veterinary Education (FYGVE) Cadre, Fort Belvoir, VA (2018-2021); Executive Assistant to the 25th Veterinary Corps Chief, San Antonio, TX (2014-2015); Deputy Chief, Veterinary Animal Health Branch, AMEDD C&S, San Antonio, TX (2013-2014); Branch Chief, Schofield Barracks, HI (2010-2013). From this assignment she planned and executed Global Health Engagements in the Philippines and subject matter exchange program with the Royal Thai Air Force and Army in Thailand.
 
Her military education consists of U.S. Army’s War College Defense Strategy Course, JAG Senior Officer Legal Orientation, Command and Staff General College Intermediate Level Education, Captain’s Career Course, AMEDD Basic Officer’s Leadership Course, Army Combatives, Instructor’s Course, Veterinary Services Theater of Operations, and Cadre Course.
 
LTC Kimbrell’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (4 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (1 OLC), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal (Iraq), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon, German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (bronze), and the Expert Field Medical Badge. She also received the Guardian Life Saving Award.
 
LTC Kimbrell’s parents, Dennis and Linda Kimbrell, and her brother, David Kimbrell, live in Spartanburg, South Carolina, along with her young nephew, Harlyn.
